The view of the bridge last night
Of all the years we have come here, we have only managed to see one sunset--fog comes in nearly every night.
We got lots of rain during the night. So fog had not lifted by 8 when we crossed the bridge.
Wheee!
Breakfast at Georgie's--Cary gets the coastal stuffer: seafood, potatoes, 3 scrambled eggs, etc. in a bread bowl with hollandaise sauce. I had a fruit bowl with toast.
Quilter's Cove has moved to a smaller store than it has been in for all the previous years...probably the economy. Less selection=more of my money!
We also went to the Salvation Army thrift store where I found some old sewing books and fabric to make a blackout curtain between our bedroom and the many LED lights in the rest of the trailer: hot water heater, microwave, CO2 detector, and refrigerator. Plus sometimes we manage to get parked next to a security light and I need it to be very dark when I try to sleep at night. We found the rod at one of the yard sales in Salem on Saturday. I have my sewing machine ready to go.
This is how it looked from our trailer window after lunch some time. Clear now, and not that chilly.
