Lake Tahoe was a beautiful site for the wedding of Tami Torok and Jeff Harris.
An arbor and chairs were set up on the beach--someone actually was able to chase off the folks in the immediate area at the time of the ceremony.
We all socialized for an hour or so while waiting for the 5:00 event to begin.
Tami was even out with her maid of honor and Jeff, discussing music with the DJ. Bellieve it or not, we heard lots of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Glenn Miller and musci we used to listen to when we were in high school! It wasn't till much later in the evening that I started hearing music I had never heard before.
Jeff and his groomsman--texting?
Kent thought he would be able to videotape the ceremony. I told them that this situation reminded me of all the jokes about "how many engineers does it take to...?" In this picture is my sister's grandson, Levi, my son Jeff, my niece Jessica and, Kent of course.
The bridal party making an entrance after the ceremony. The first of the groomsmen to Jeff's left is his twin brother, Dan.
The dinner buffet was good. I caught Jeff with salad on his plate--he is not fond of green food! Jessica observes.
The newlyweds' first dance to "Unchained Melody"
Tami opted for this dessert rather than a cake. We left before it was served, didn't want to drive down the mountain in the dark! I am sure it was delicious.
An almost full moon for the start of their marriage!
