Beautiful Weather in Florence

After a rainy night, it turned out to be one of the nicest days we have seen since we have been coming to Florence for many, many years. It was great for walking around, so that is just what we did. Our location at the marina puts us within walking distance of all the cute shops and restaurants, so we only needed the truck for groceries and yard sales.

The guy next to us travels alone in his RV, but this is his companion, buckled in and carrying a beer!

When we got to town we discovered the local car club was having a gathering, so Cary got some pictures.

Gorgeous Oldsmobile!

This is an American Bantam, 1934, uses Datsun 4-cylinder running gear. The owner was on his way to a show in Monterey.

I couldn't resist a cup  of Oregon Trail ice cream: chocolate with cherries and hazelnuts-yum!

We went out for supper too.

Cary is paying the bill after our meals of grilled salmon (me) and shrimp scampi (his). We got to eat outside, enjoy the great weather and watch the people go by.

It helped that the waitress was very nice, attentive but not overbearing and the food was delicious!
