We stopped at Rite Aid (because beer was on sale). Isn't this a cute little trailer?
We were hoping to tour the lighthouse Thursday afternoon (Hours were supposed to be 2:30-4:00), but as you can see from this picture taken right at 2:30, it was going to be awhile before anyone could cross without getting wet feet. Our neighbors in the RV park reported they saw folks leaving around 4:00, but we didn't want to sit and wait. I hope we can make it on Sunday, but they are only open 10-11:00 then!
Friday and yard sales. We found several in Crescent City--I am actually in this picture, but as Cary snapped it, a man walked in front of me as I was looking at quilting magazines! They were 10 cents each! I bought notions, magazines and...hmm...something else there!
After dropping off goodies at the trailer we drove to Brookings to see what they had to offer. Cary was pleased to find a vacuum (the one in the trailer is not as efficient as he had hoped). This is an Oreck that just needed a belt, which he found at True Value here. The vac and 8 new bags cost just $3! Even buying the three new belts made the purchase a bargain. And it works quite well!
At the same house I got Christmas fabric for stockings our ASG group makes for AVIVA (plus some for myself, because it was pretty).
This house was across the street from one of the sales.
These beautiful flowers were blooming behind some buildings when we took a side street in Brookings to avoid some traffic. Gorgeous!
Fuel at Fred Meyers and lunch at the Dragon Palace. Home exhausted and happy.
