Sitting outside at Chowderheads in the Nye Beach area of Newport, I am eating a Mandarin chicken salad (it was enough for three people), and Cary has fish and chips.
If you squint or look very carefully you can see the Yaquina Head Lighthouse on the peninsula. We toured it seven years ago, went back out to see it when we were with friends two years ago.
Just another beautiful view
I couldn't resist a picture of our HitchHiker in line with a second HitchHiker at the RV park.
Watching the sun go down over the bridge, sometimes impossible with the thick clouds, but very nice tonight.
Second only to the sunsets in Tucson!
And I end with another vintage fire truck-related image. The sticker on the PT Cruiser says the owner is a retired California firefighter.
