Last Saturday Until Next Year

As we were driving out of the RV park we saw this beautifully painted 5th wheel and truck--
I thought maybe its owner was in town for a book signing or perhaps she was set up at the Farmers' Market. But Rhonda Kulczyk, author of the Freedom Series books, Christian romance set in the 19th century, was just passing through, so I didn't get to meet her. She has a website.
While out searching for a yard sale we discovered an old drive-in movie theater.

Such a beautiful setting--one of many!

Cary really liked the support columns of this carport at one of the yard sales.

An owner at one of the sales was wearing a car shirt from a show at Lake Havasu, so naturally Cary had to ask him about it. They found out they both owned 1961 Pontiacs; this is his Ventura. Cary has a Bonneville.

Here he is putting up a little shelf to hold something to block the indicator light that comes on when he turns the water off at night. When the light is on, our bedroom is way too bright for sleeping!

And, for now, this is what he chose to block the light--it does pretty well!
