On our way out of the RV park this morning I spotted this little cutie in the first section of the park; Cary had to go back so I could get a picture. Later I was walking back from the office and got to meet the young couple who owned it. They are from Portland, bought it in April on Craigslist and have decided they are not RV material! I told them they shouldn't judge that by this trailer; it is pretty primitive compared to what most of us think of as RVs! Later tonight when Cary and I took our evening walk we noticed it was all closed up, nothing outside the trailer, no connections at all and decided perhaps they went to a motel for the night!
We did get to take a tour of the lighthouse this morning. While waiting our turn (we were first in line), I got a picture of the fog over the water.
And one last picture out front before going inside. Luckily I was prepared once again to give the introduction to the lighthouse in the gift shop! We just did the tour of the first four rooms, so others could enjoy the view of the tower. It has been a wonderful month here in Crescent City and we are eager to return--maybe even coming back a month before we start to work in August! Meanwhile, Coos Bay--here we come!
