More in North Bend and Coos Bay

Yesterday after visiting a couple of thrift stores and a wonderful antique mall (Leaf Tree House), we met Susan at the Pancake Mill for a yummy lunch. For all the years we have driven past this cute restaurant, I have never thought of eating here. I  would return!

Before leaving North Bend this morning, I saw how the sun created this design on the shelf above the table and had to take a picture.

Entering Florence you get a glimpse of the sand dunes. We ate supper at Mo's--clam chowder and fish tacos for me, a fish entrée for Cary (along with garlic toast and mashed potatoes). I have enough left over for lunch and supper tomorrow night too!

Oh, I almost forgot--the other night when I mentioned that couple, Cathi and Chuck, who came over to see our HitchHiker, I forgot to say that they kept trying to think of who Cary looked like--they finally said it outloud, so we were able to fill them in--Tom Skerritt. The name didn't ring a bell, but I brought up his picture online, and they readily agreed, that, yes, yes, that was him!
