Blame the Internet

I am not sure if  it was the wind or the clouds or what was causing the problems with the internet connections, but yesterday I could only stay online for brief amounts of time--so no blog!

This was our view out the back window when we got up on Friday morning (there are two young people staying in the tent you see there).

We found several good yard sales Cary discovered some goodies in the free box too!

At that same house, the guy had this Harley Topper; he gave Cary permission to take a picture.

I found this very cool bookend at an estate sale. The picture looks like a wood mosaic. Cary thinks it is decoupage. I am not sure and there hasn't been enough light to examine it carefully.

This throw rug was the find of the vacation!

One of the great scenes as we scouted out sales along the coast

I stop here every year, have yet to buy anything.
After supper we went for a walk by the river. The bridge is magnificent!

The Mid-Coast Marine Oregon Corporation in Coos Bay was founded by Fred Nelson; originally called the Nelson Log Bronc Company. The word Nelson is on the side of this away from the camera. This was not here last year, I don't think.

The tsunami evacuation route, not to be joked about here on the coast

Thursday night after dinner at Mo's a young boy pointed out all the jellyfish in the water below us; Friday evening I took a picture. Those white circular diaphanous objects are jellyfish and there were lots of them.

So many flowers everywhere!
