I am not sure if it was the wind or the clouds or what was causing the problems with the internet connections, but yesterday I could only stay online for brief amounts of time--so no blog!
This was our view out the back window when we got up on Friday morning (there are two young people staying in the tent you see there).
I found this very cool bookend at an estate sale. The picture looks like a wood mosaic. Cary thinks it is decoupage. I am not sure and there hasn't been enough light to examine it carefully.
After supper we went for a walk by the river. The bridge is magnificent!
The Mid-Coast Marine Oregon Corporation in Coos Bay was founded by Fred Nelson; originally called the Nelson Log Bronc Company. The word Nelson is on the side of this away from the camera. This was not here last year, I don't think.
The tsunami evacuation route, not to be joked about here on the coast
Thursday night after dinner at Mo's a young boy pointed out all the jellyfish in the water below us; Friday evening I took a picture. Those white circular diaphanous objects are jellyfish and there were lots of them.
So many flowers everywhere!
